Fall 2012

One of my favorite times of the year is Fall, I love every thing about fall I love the weather and the Leaves and I love that it gets dark earilier and that we can cozy up next to the fire.  I also love conference.  We had a a long weekend at the cabin with just our little family.  It was a slice of heaven.  We don't have  t.v service in the Mountains so we listened to it on a radio, which was nice and peaceful.  We have also been going to lots of football games and besides the halftime the games are pretty sad.  This is a little of what we have been up to...

End of Summer

The end of summer is a little sad but alot happy.  We have been so busy and over scheduled this summer.  Getting back to a routine will be so nice.  We spent the last weekend of the summer with our friends the Smith's at their cabin.  One of our favorite traditions.  The weather was gorgeous, cool to sleep and warm during the day... Just the way I like it.  Our friends are alway the best hosts, they treat us like kings.  Brett and Jon went to the top of the mountain and saw tons of wildlife, our kids got so dirty and we had fun teaching the girls to crochet.  Great Weekend!!!

Cabin Summer 2012

We headed to the cabin for the 4th of July with the Smith's and my niece Brittany and Baby Jack.  We had the best time with them all.  We had a nice long weekend and took some fun 4 wheeler rides and talked and fished and played lots of games.  Brett and I also slept in as much as you can with a baby in your closet and 13 people in the cabin.  The weather was gorgeous and sleeping with the stream out the window is my favorite.

Summer 2012

To say that I have fallen behind on Blogging would be a huge understatement, so rather than try to catch you up on the last six months, I will just give a couple highlights.  Sage turned 16 in April and got her drivers license, went on her first date finished up her Sophomore year at Murray High and went to Nationals with her Drill Team.  Max Graduated from Elementary, played soccer for Murray Max and is acting more and more like a teenager every single day.  Mason had a tough but excellent teacher in 5th grade played baseball allot and made the All-star team.  We had a busy busy summer.  That is putting it mildly.  As a family we took our annual trip to San Clemente and enjoyed our family more than we can express.  We also took a couple trips to the cabin. Our down time seems to be short and the kid's schedules are so packed, time just seems to be speeding right along.  Sage is a Junior this year, Max is in 7th grade and Mason is our only Elementary School kid.  We have so much to be grateful for and feel so blessed.  Here are some of the Highlights... P.S going to try to be more committed to blogging this year

Yes, I am a Dance Mom, Baseball Mom, and Soccer Mom! Max’s turn! We have been spending a lot of time on the little princess at our house for the the las 3 month. Now on to the boy’s. Max had a Soccer tournament in St. George in February. Twist my arm, okay I will go to the warm beautiful Red Rock City of St. George... Presidents weekend is usually a snow weekend for our family. You know snowmobiling, skiing or cabin stuff. This year I got pools and soccer fields instead. Max did great, his team made it to the finales and lost a close game and ended up forth. The good new is that Max had a blast being the center of attention so weekend well spent! We stayed with Brett’s Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Grant, They treated us like royalty, The kid’s loved the pool and hot tub, (me too). Brett and I stayed in the Cassita, which I could get used to! Loved our time with them, amazing beautiful home and even lovelier people! Sage got to bring Hannah, and loved having a sister! Love long weekends, time with my family, time with my Sweetheart, and warmer weather!

McKay Sage And Joslyn

Sage and her Drill team did so well this year I was so proud of her and all their hard work. They palced in every competition they competed in and took 2nd in region. Most of all I am proud of the adituted she has had, she is a hard worker and never lets others influence they way she will behave. Her team is a great example of acceptance and working together as a team. Sage has learned so much from being with this group of girls. The long hours everyday after school and bruises and bumps have only made her love it more!!! I love her enthusiasm and couldn’t be more proud of my girl!!!
