End of Summer

The end of summer is a little sad but alot happy.  We have been so busy and over scheduled this summer.  Getting back to a routine will be so nice.  We spent the last weekend of the summer with our friends the Smith's at their cabin.  One of our favorite traditions.  The weather was gorgeous, cool to sleep and warm during the day... Just the way I like it.  Our friends are alway the best hosts, they treat us like kings.  Brett and Jon went to the top of the mountain and saw tons of wildlife, our kids got so dirty and we had fun teaching the girls to crochet.  Great Weekend!!!

Cabin Summer 2012

We headed to the cabin for the 4th of July with the Smith's and my niece Brittany and Baby Jack.  We had the best time with them all.  We had a nice long weekend and took some fun 4 wheeler rides and talked and fished and played lots of games.  Brett and I also slept in as much as you can with a baby in your closet and 13 people in the cabin.  The weather was gorgeous and sleeping with the stream out the window is my favorite.

Summer 2012

To say that I have fallen behind on Blogging would be a huge understatement, so rather than try to catch you up on the last six months, I will just give a couple highlights.  Sage turned 16 in April and got her drivers license, went on her first date finished up her Sophomore year at Murray High and went to Nationals with her Drill Team.  Max Graduated from Elementary, played soccer for Murray Max and is acting more and more like a teenager every single day.  Mason had a tough but excellent teacher in 5th grade played baseball allot and made the All-star team.  We had a busy busy summer.  That is putting it mildly.  As a family we took our annual trip to San Clemente and enjoyed our family more than we can express.  We also took a couple trips to the cabin. Our down time seems to be short and the kid's schedules are so packed, time just seems to be speeding right along.  Sage is a Junior this year, Max is in 7th grade and Mason is our only Elementary School kid.  We have so much to be grateful for and feel so blessed.  Here are some of the Highlights... P.S going to try to be more committed to blogging this year
